This is copy of a modern day Arial Tax map.  Remember that "Jacks Run" was known in those early days as one of the tributaries, branches or headwaters of the Sewickley Creek and all of the warrant land surveys in that area that mention a creek, are named as the "Sewickley".  Even today, all this water flows south out of Hempfield Twp. and feeds into the Big Sewickley Creek.
